Dolce Vita

First week in Munich has gone fast. I think that most of the formalities such as registration in the city office, tax card, German mobile number and a bank account are now done. I also bought a bike from the flee market in Olympia Park yesterday! For just 35 euros.

My flat mates are truly nice and have taken me with  them almost everywhere they go in their free time. I have also met many of their friends here in Munich. We have cooked some German food and Finnish food, we have watched movies, visited local bars and wandered around the Englischer Garten. We have also visited LMU where I will be studying next summer. Highlight this far has been home-made Bavarian breakfast with Weisswurst and Brezeln.

  1. Dear Heta, I have always known that you work effective and rapidly, but this may be some kind of record, I suppose. In some single days you have done so much including a new bike. (=How to buy an old bike, I think, you have good experience from Berlin!!!)
Thank you for your blog. We all can now follow your steps there in Münich. I read here weather prognoses and envy you being there.
    With regards, Eeva
